A Warm Welcome to the National Tutors' Network

Saturday Club tutors from across the UK travelled to London last week to share ideas and to make plans together for the year ahead.

Tutors at the English National Opera's London Coliseum, Cockpit Arts & London Design Biennale.

As well as meeting their counterparts from around the country at Cockpit Arts, tutors had the chance to enjoy a special backstage tour at the English National Opera’s London Coliseum theatre and to see the inaugural London Design Biennale at Somerset House.

Our warmest thanks to our friends at Cockpit Arts, English National Opera and the London Design Biennale for making this exciting day possible.

London Calling - 19th November

Plans are well underway for this year’s London Visit for the National Art&Design Saturday Club.  And for the first time in several years, we’re able to invite all Clubs to join us on the same day in one huge venue at University of the Arts London’s King’s Cross campus, Central Saint Martins.

London Visits for our Science&Engineering and Fashion&Business Clubs will follow later in the year.

Lights, Camera, Summer Show!

The 2016 Summer Show was our biggest and best yet, featuring the work of over 1,200 young people, most of whom attended the Members & Families Private Views. We also held an Industry Private View with Peter Bazalgette, Chair of Arts Council England as our guest speaker.

This film captures some of the magic over those few days in June at Somerset House. An Up Close Films production.

Merci, Montblanc

Our co-founders John & Frances Sorrell have been honoured with the 2016Montblanc de la Culture Arts Patronage Award. Now in its 25th year, the award recognises and celebrates the work of outstanding private patrons of the arts in sixteen countries throughout the world.
