Manchester Metropolitan University

Science&Engineering Saturday Club at Manchester Metropolitan University is taking part in an exciting and innovative research project this year.

What is maths? Can maths be talking, making, baking, ceramics, playing, or even filming? Well let’s find out, together!

Working with Professor Ricardo Nemirovsky, Club members will be invited to take the role as co-researchers on an innovative and explorative project looking at mathematics, materials, making, talking, and learning. Club members will act as co-researchers in a real-life research project, learning and working collaboratively.

Opportunities to work with Manchester Science Park and meet innovative tech businesses, while taking part in this exploration of mathematics will be supported by exciting masterclasses from industry experts.

Club members will also take part in free national events including the Summer Show, where Saturday Clubs nationwide exhibit their work in a public exhibition, and Masterclasses with leading industry professionals.
