The National Maritime Museum is proud to host the Art&Design Saturday Club located in the heart of Maritime Greenwich UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Club offers FREE weekly classes every Saturday from 10am-1pm, introducing young people to a range of different art forms and practices.

This is a wonderful opportunity to develop new skills, make new friends and create artwork! Club members will have the opportunity to explore artworks at the National Maritime Museum and their sister site the Queen’s House, plus have exclusive back-of-house access to the museum’s historic and contemporary art collections. The weekly workshops will be facilitated by a professional artist who will support you to develop new skills in critical thinking and creative practice. You will have opportunities to work across different artistic disciplines from printmaking and textiles to film and animation, exhibit your work, facilitate workshops, visit other galleries and gain an accredited Bronze Arts Award.

Club members will also take part in national events including Masterclasses with leading industry professionals and the Summer Show, where all Club members exhibit their work in a public exhibition – all for free!
