Ravensbourne University London

Art&Design Saturday Clubs give young people aged 13-16 the experience of working with media and practices that are used in the creative sector. Through exciting Club programmes and Masterclasses with art and design professionals, members learn about the diverse educational and job opportunities that can lead to exciting careers. The UK’s creative industries are thriving, and provide millions of jobs and billions to the economy each year. Their success is built on a constant stream of new talent and fresh ideas, and imaginative thinking combined with specialist skills.

We run a year of exciting and engaging creative workshops exploring various art and design processes. This year, our programme will cover drawing, fashion, sculpture just to name a few.

If you are studying Art and/or Design at school then this will give you further depth to your skills and knowledge, if you are doing this club for fun, then it’s the perfect way to spend your Saturdays, but you’ll learn a lot too!

As part of the National Saturday Club programme, the Club will also take part in three National Events: the London Visit, in which members create a pop-up self-portrait exhibition and visit the capital’s leading museums and galleries; a Masterclass with an industry professional; and the Summer Show, where all Club members from around the country exhibit their work at Somerset House, London – all for free.
