St Mary’s University

St Mary’s is inviting young people from across Southwest London who have interest in politics, exploring major world issues and creating positive social change. It is a customised 8-week programme created for young people between the ages of 13-16. This year our theme is Voice, and our Club members will explore this through several academic areas.

We will ask questions such as:
What does sport have to do with social change?
How can Criminology help young people create positive social change?
How can History help us to voice our concerns about the future?

We will spend time finding your voice and engaging in important dialogue. Club members will develop new skills in debating, make new friends and experience university life. Sessions will predominantly take place at St Mary’s University.

Club members will also have the chance to take part in national events including Masterclasses with leading industry professionals and the Summer Show, where all Club members exhibit their work in a public showcase – all for free!

Club dates:
22 April 2023 - 17 June 2023

Please note, priority places will be given to students meeting one or more Widening Participation criteria
