University of Westminster
The Club is an excellent way for young people to explore the opportunities for fun that science and engineering offers. The University of Westminster’s Science&Engineering Club is all about robotics.
Through lectures and interactive sessions, Club members will learn about the design and construction elements of robotics and use this knowledge during their own projects. They will brainstorm ideas, consider materials and sketch designs for various prototypes which they will test and continue to evolve before building their final model.
As part of the National Saturday Club programme, the Club will also take part in National Events: a London Visit that brings all Clubs together at the beginning of the year and visit a cultural institution; a Masterclass with an industry professional; and the Summer Show, where all Club members from around the country exhibit their work at Somerset House, London – all for free.
This Club is made possible with funding from the Quintin Hogg Trust.
