15 November, 2019
On Saturday, more than 1,000 National Saturday Club members from across the UK will be travelling to the capital for the 2019 London Visit.
The welcome event will be generously hosted by the Greater London Authority at City Hall. Here, Club members will have the chance to listen to inspiring speeches, see their self-portraits on exhibition and take in the stunning panoramic views across the River Thames (as pictured above) from London’s Living Room.
After this, the young people will head out across London to take part in specially arranged visits and tours of London’s leading cultural institutions including Somerset House, Barbican Centre, Shakespeare’s Globe, Science Gallery London, Tate, Fashion and Textile Museum, White Cube, Design Museum, National Portrait Gallery, Victoria and Albert Museum and Westminster Menswear Archive.
