The National Saturday Club Summer Show at London’s prestigious Somerset House, presents the work of 1,500 13–16-year-old Club members who have been attending weekly Saturday Clubs at 56 universities, colleges and museums across the country.
Each of the six Saturday Club subjects – Art&Design, Fashion&Business, Film&Media, Science&Engineering, Society&Change and Writing&Talking – are represented in the exhibition designed by Dallas-Pierce-Quintero.
The National Saturday Club Masterclasses Programme is also celebrated in the exhibition. Leading industry professionals and organisations have led special workshops for Saturday Club members throughout the year including: Arup, Alexander McQueen Studio, Bonhams, Ella Doran, English National Opera, Jason Bruges Studio, Kaushik Velendra, Pentland Brands, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, and Wilton Park.
It is an inspirational showcase of the ideas, creativity and innovation of the nation’s next generation.
