Masterclasses are a pivotal element of the National Saturday Club’s year-long programme. These take place in the Spring Term and connect Club members with industry experts, providing unique opportunities for young people to engage with professional practitioners and to glimpse the inspiring breadth of future career possibilities open to them.
This year’s Masterclasses Programme is our most ambitious to date with more than 60 Masterclasses engaging over 90 Saturday Clubs nationwide. Activities will span the breadth of the creative industries and beyond, from structural engineering, VFX and urban air mobility, to AI, stained glass making and animation. Many Masterclass givers have also reflected on their experience of taking part in the programme, commenting that the young people they have worked with at the Saturday Club have given them a new perspective on their own work.
