On Saturday, 23rd November, Saturday Clubs gathered at Central Saint Martins for the London Visit! Along with viewing their “Expressions of Self” portrait work on display, Club members participated in specially arranged workshops and tours of some of the UK’s most renowned cultural institutions. Highlights below…
1. Club members arrived and were given goodie bags containing Cass Art sketchbooks. A big thank you to Cass Art for their support!
2. Designed to inspire and empower, 15 museums, galleries and performance spaces across London opened their doors to Club members for a variety of specially arranged workshops!
3. For the first time, the “Expressions of Self” exhibition was presented as a digital display at Central Saint Martins’ Lethaby Gallery.
4. The atmosphere was incredible at the live beatbox performance and sound expression engagement workshop led by Mr Shay of Underground Creatives!
5. Club members engaged in activities that encouraged collaboration and self-expression while meeting other Clubs!
6. Each Club member had the opportunity to creatively personalise a length of ribbon with pens, crayons and stamps. The ribbon will be turned into an installation exhibited at this year’s Summer Show!
