The Art & Design National Saturday Club at Art Classes Group offers young people aged 13–16 the opportunity to explore their creativity, develop artistic skills and gain confidence through exciting practical projects.

Running every Saturday during term time, the programme introduces members to a wide range of visual arts disciplines including drawing, painting, mixed media, printmaking, sculpture, textiles, digital art and creative design.

Club members are encouraged to experiment with different materials and techniques while developing their own artistic style and creative voice. The programme also includes visits to cultural institutions, artist-led workshops, industry Masterclasses and opportunities to exhibit work publicly at the Summer Show.

Participants will have access to specialist art equipment and materials including easels, acrylic and watercolour paints, printmaking tools, sewing machines, textile materials, clay, mixed-media resources and digital design equipment. Members can also work towards Arts Award qualifications accredited by Trinity College London.

The Club provides a welcoming and inclusive environment where young people can make new friends, build confidence, strengthen communication and teamwork skills, and explore future pathways into art, design and creative careers.
