At the Blackburn College Film&Screen Saturday Club you will have a chance to work on exciting short film projects, documentaries, multi-camera studio productions. Based in the Blackburn Film Academy’s studio, edit suites and screening room, Club members will get to try their hand at fun techniques such as stop motion animation and editing using industry standard equipment.

Work produced as part of the Club will be showcased at the Summer Show, where Saturday Clubs nationwide exhibit their work in a public exhibition, as well as at the inaugural Lancashire Film Festival alongside the National Festival of Making in July. All Club members will be invited to the two day festival and be able to take part in Masterclasses with leading industry professionals, screenings and Q&A’s with award winning filmmakers and production companies.
