The National Fashion & Business Saturday Club gives young people in years 9,10 and 11 the unique opportunity to study Fashion and Business at Activate Learning. We run an exciting programme enabling club members to explore a range of aspects of the fashion industry such as fashion illustration, pattern cutting, ethical fashion, and designing.

Looking at Fashion through different lenses, from marketing to construction, club members get to work alongside our industry specialist, as well as use workshops to develop their own designs, produce garments and develop ideas. National Fashion & Business Saturday Club is FREE and places go to students who want to expand their creative skills and are committed to attending on 15 Saturday mornings from November to March!

The club is equally suitable for boys and girls of all abilities interested in fashion and business. The aim is to nurture young people’s talent and build their confidence and self-esteem. The fashion business is an important part of the UK’s creative industries, and its supply chains provide 880,000 jobs in a wide range of sub-sectors, which range from materials technology and trend forecasting to fashion journalism and retail management. This industry is a great British success story, generating £28 billion for the economy each year.
