At Create Studios, training the next generation of screen creatives is at the heart of our mission. We’re dedicated to empowering young people to discover their voice, build independence, and gain the confidence they need to break into the world of screen arts.

This year, 20 young people from Swindon, aged 13-16, will have the opportunity to join the Film&Screen Saturday Club. Running from October 24 to June 25, this exciting programme offers 18 weeks of immersive film experience. Guided by professional mentors from the film industry, Club members will dive into film viewing, scripting, production, and editing, creating 2-3 short films over the course of the year.

In addition to hands-on projects, Club members will enjoy industry visits, talks, and events, all supported by Create Studios and the National Saturday Club.

Club members also take part in national events including Masterclasses with leading industry professionals and the Summer Show, where Saturday Clubs nationwide exhibit their work in a public exhibition – all for free!
