Creatives Now, Bolton
Are you interested in the world of film and screen production? Bolton Film Academy, delivered by Creatives Now, National Saturday Club, and Bolton Council, offers an exciting 25-week Film&Screen Saturday Club that provides hands-on experience in all aspects of filmmaking.
This Saturday Club is designed to spark creativity and develop your skills, from screenwriting and cinematography to editing and visual effects. Taking place every Saturday from 12:00 to 15:00 at Creatives Now and film studio locations, you’ll work alongside industry professionals, create short films, and collaborate with like-minded peers.
Club members will have exclusive access to professional film equipment and state-of-the-art editing suites, providing them with the tools to create high-quality films and gain hands-on experience with industry-standard technology. This project offers a focused and supportive learning environment. Throughout the year, you’ll participate in Masterclasses with film and TV experts, engage in site-specific sessions, and showcase your work at the National Saturday Club’s Summer Show exhibition in Somerset House in London. By the end, you’ll have contributed to three short films, gaining practical filmmaking experience and building valuable industry connections.
Bolton Screen Academy will work with local film studios Sitcom Soldiers and Title Productions. Films produced by the Club will be screened at Bolton Film Festival as part of Creatives Now’s youth strand in addition to the screenings at Somerset House.
