Whether you’re a budding designer or simply curious about fashion, this hands-on workshop is your gateway to exploring the exciting world of fashion design, trends, and personal branding. Fashion textiles is the largest sector within the UK’s creative industries, offering diverse career paths from design and material sourcing to journalism, styling, and business roles like merchandising and buying. At De Montfort University, ranked among the world’s top fashion schools (CEOWORLD, 2023) and recognized for its commitment to sustainability (Green Gown Awards, 2021), you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside our expert designers to create your own unique designs.

Throughout the year, you’ll gain access to industry-standard workshops, exploring areas such as fashion design, textiles, footwear, sportswear, and the business side of fashion, including social media promotion.
