Dover Smart Project is a grassroots charity with huge social value, transforming the lives of 100s of vulnerable young people over the past 12 years through community led creative projects. Still, every day we are learning and understanding the needs and the priorities of our community because these change in line with wider social factors. We pride ourselves on our reputation and the strong community relationships we have developed. The Club runs every Saturday from 11am to 1pm in our community gallery, we provide lunch and refreshments, various creative activities and some time to just come and relax. The programme for the year will see young people lead on the design and content of a newspaper. Exploring and debating local cultural issues. Learning new skills including photography and creative writing. Our mission is to give young people a voice in our community.

Club members also take part in national events including Masterclasses with leading industry professionals and the Summer Show, where Saturday Clubs nationwide exhibit their work in a public exhibition – all for free!

We prioritise applications from Young Carers but are open to young people across the Dover District.
