London School of Architecture
The London School of Architecture’s trailblazing Higher Project Qualification (HPQ) x National Saturday Club for students aged 13 to 16 years old presents the practice of spatial design as a collective endeavour with a focus on context and sustainability. The programme aims to support young people as they explore their individual interests in architecture and design, helping them to develop confidence and relevant skills as well as providing them with a qualification leading to higher education. It will be delivered on Saturdays (2pm to 5pm) from November 2025 to September 2026 at the London School of Architecture and other locations across the city. Students will be guided through skills development workshops and supported by built environment experts as they develop a range of industry specific and transferable skills. From sketching, drawing and model making to public speaking, the students will develop climate literacy alongside core skills in site analysis and architectural projection, enabling them to communicate their ideas to others through a range of media. On completion, students will have developed a well-rounded design portfolio and will receive a recognised and highly sought-after qualification equivalent to half a GCSE.
Club members also take part in national events including Masterclasses with leading industry professionals and the Summer Show, where all Club members exhibit their work in a public exhibition – all for free!
