The Film&Screen Saturday Club at London Screen Academy offer young people hands-on experience in filmmaking, and a chance to produce their own films by working in teams. Our aim is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the industry and hands-on experience with our industry standard equipment and software.

Club members will learn about all stages of filmmaking, including scriptwriting, costumes, production design, locations, budgeting, camera, sound, lighting and editing. Some of the activities can include workshops, informative sessions and group tasks. Our goal is to build Club members’ confidence and passion for filmmaking, encouraging them to create their own short films and develop their storytelling skills.

Club members also take part in national events including Masterclasses with leading industry professionals and the Summer Show, where Saturday Clubs nationwide exhibit their work in a public exhibition – all for free!
