London Screen Academy
The National Saturday Club at London Screen Academy offers students hands-on experience in filmmaking by working in teams to produce their own films.
Our aim is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the industry and hands-on experience with our industry standard equipment and software. Students will learn about all stages of filmmaking. This includes elements like scriptwriting, costumes, production design, locations, budgeting, camera, sound, lighting and editing.
Activities will include workshops, informative sessions and group tasks. Our goal is to build students’ confidence and passion for filmmaking, encouraging them to create their own short films and develop their storytelling skills.
Club members also take part in national events including Masterclasses with leading industry professionals and the Summer Show, where Saturday Clubs nationwide exhibit their work in a public exhibition – all for free!
