Love art, ideas and being creative? MIMA Saturday Club invites you to get creative, meet like-minded young people, explore the issues that matter to you and get involved in exciting creative projects. Learn from artists, tutors, and creatives and explore exciting exhibitions to get inspired.

Together, we’ll experiment, collaborate, share our perspectives, and discover how art can be used to express ideas, tell stories and make a difference. Based at MIMA, an internationally recognised contemporary art gallery and host of the Turner Prize 2026 in the heart of Centre Square, Middlesbrough, Saturday Club at MIMA is a place to be curious, creative and have your voice heard!

MIMA is driven by a commitment to equity, diversity and access. We commission and exhibit ambitious creative programmes and connect with diverse audiences.

Diversity underpins our work and is considered at every level. We focus on excellent standards of inclusion, representation in relation to socio-economic, race, gender, LGBTQIA+ and disability equality representation across our programme in our collection development and exhibition programmes.

We work with many organisations, partners, artists, friends, and critical friends who inform our work. We welcome feedback, so if you would like to tell us about your experience or make a suggestion, please contact MIMA reception in person, phone 01642 931232, or email MIMA@tees.ac.uk
