Join professional artists for this exciting exploration of all thing’s art and design, diving into what art can be in the 21st century.

This 15-week programme at Shakespeare North Playhouse Art&Design Saturday Club will introduce Club members to new ways of designing and creating artwork through supportive sessions that bring the subject to life. Based in a working arts venue, young people will have the opportunity to meet artists working in the building and get creative in the different spaces, including the iconic Cockpit Theatre.

The Saturday Club at Shakespeare North Playhouse is aimed at developing young people’s creativity, imagination, self-esteem and confidence through a guided innovative and exciting programme.

Club members also take part in national events including Masterclasses with leading industry professionals and the Summer Show, where Saturday Clubs nationwide exhibit their work in a public exhibition – all for free!
