St Barbe Museum + Art Gallery
We provide a friendly environment for young makers aged 13–16-years-old to explore their creativity with hands-on activities whilst developing skills they can use every day. Workshops are run by professional tutors and makers.
Club members will explore local Heritage Crafts across the New Forest, with organised visits to local crafts people and businesses as an insight into employment with craft industries. We encourage Club members to undertake their Bronze Arts Award with support from the tutors.
At the end of the programme, members will have the opportunity to display their creations in a museum exhibition, as well as in the National Saturday Club Summer Show.
Most importantly we want Club members to come along, be themselves and have fun – apply now!
Accessibility statement: All our programmes can be adapted to meet the needs of individuals visiting the museum. St Barbe Museum and Art Gallery has ramp access to the side of the building for wheelchairs and is a fully accessible site.
