At UAL’s free Saturday club, you will experiment, create and connect with other young people in a fun, supportive space. Workshops will explore art, 3-dimensional design, graphic design, illustration and fashion design.

You’ll be guided through new skills and techniques by UAL tutors and industry professionals, before exhibiting your work in a final showcase at Somerset House.

This 15-week programme runs from November 2026 to March 2027 and is held at UAL’s School of Pre-Degree Studies in West London.

UAL club members can also access free national Masterclasses hosted by industry experts and exhibit their work at the National Saturday Club Summer Show.

You’re eligible for the UAL Saturday Club in the 2026-27 academic year if you are currently in Year 10 or Year 11, and meet one or more of the following criteria:

– You have been in care (currently or in the past).

– You live in a priority postcode area using the Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD), in deciles 1 to 4. We will assess this when you apply

– You live in a household that receives benefits for living costs, including: Universal Credit; Child Tax Credit; Free School Meals; Housing Benefit; Income Support; Income-based Job Seekers Allowance.

– You have no parent or guardian who has completed a university degree.
