University of West London

This year’s Society&Change Saturday Club at the University of West London will focus on food to explore relationships between community, well-being and nature in West London.

The programme will be delivered in three parts:

‘Food Justice’ (Nov – Dec) – we will work with local organisations and experts to learn about their efforts to address food waste and food poverty.

‘Food as Art’ (Jan – Feb) – we will work with chefs, PhD students and artists to make delicious foods from around the world.

‘Food as Medicine’ (March – April) – we will learn about community gardening, mental health support and how plants have been used to create medicines across history and cultures.

Club members will also take part in national events including Masterclasses with leading industry professionals and the Summer Show, where Saturday Clubs nationwide exhibit their work in a public exhibition – all for free!

Applications for this Club are now closed. You can complete the application form to join the waiting list.
