The Saturday Club at York St John University is a free programme for young people aged 13–16 who are interested in creativity and the arts. Through fun, hands-on workshops, participants develop new skills, make friends and explore creative subjects while experiencing life at university.

With full access to all the specialist on-campus facilities that our School of the Arts has to offer, Club members will get involved in unique creative sessions delivered by experts across different areas of the arts.

From Fine Art and Photography to Printmaking and Immersive Theatre, Club members will discover a range of artistic techniques, all while getting a taste of higher education and building their confidence to experiment artistically and meet other young creative people.

Accessibility statement: We welcome applications from all young people aged 13–16 who are curious, creative and interested in the arts. We are especially keen to hear from young people who may not normally have access to creative opportunities, helping ensure the Club is open and accessible to everyone.
