AHMM, interior architecture

  • Norwich University of the Arts

Art&Design Club members at Norwich University of the Arts took part in a brilliant Masterclass led by Francesco Draisci and a team from AHMM. Francesco began by providing a general introduction to AHMM and explained some of the buildings and projects that the architecture practice had helped design over the years. Then, working in groups led by Francesco and Becky, Club members created 1:10 scale ‘Mini Mes’ from modelling-clay.

Once these were completed, the Club responded to the second part of the design brief and created environments for their figures to exist in that reflected their personal interests or sense of style. One club member loved 70s music and so created a rock inspired room – including a cut out skylight of Bowie’s famed lightning bolt, everyone’s creations showcased their individuality and imagination.
