In a Masterclass with architectural practice Cullinan Studio, Club members from University of Northampton walked along the Regent’s Canal collecting plants to use in a drawing exercise. Their chosen plants were used as a starting point for a larger collaborative piece, where Club members illustrated the native plants alongside cross-sections between buildings to create inviting green spaces. At the mid-way point of the Masterclass, Club members visited Grayson Perry’s ‘The Vanity of Small Differences’ exhibition at Victoria Miro, before returning to Cullinan Studio’s offices to complete their design, filled with animals, roads, and forests. To conclude the Masterclass, the group heard from Laura, Anna, Alice, and Mariah from Cullinan Studio about careers in architecture and sustainability.
