The self-portraiture project has been a significant part of the National Saturday Club’s annual programme for over 10 years and we now have an archive of more than 9,000 (!) self-portraits created by past Club members – you can explore last year’s showcase here.

It’s now your turn to take part, and we can’t wait to see your ideas!

To spark your creativity, a fantastic line up of guest speakers, representing each of the four Saturday Club subjects – Art&Design, Fashion& Business, Science&Engineering and Writing&Talking – have shared their own thoughts and ideas about ‘Expressions of Self’ in the film above.

We hope this provide some inspiration as you create your own self-portraits to be displayed in an online exhibition at the virtual London Visit in January.
