Bradford College’s Art&Design Masterclass was led by social documentary photographer Ian Beesley, and hosted by the National Media Museum in Bradford.
After a tour of the museum’s photographic and media collections, Ian gave a talk about his own work and introduced the idea of “leapology” – helping people to overcome their shyness about being photographed by concentrating on jumping.
The young people created their own “leapology” photographs, which was great fun and also informative. Over the course of the year, as well as enjoying working together, the young people gained valuable knowledge and skills.
