Retail designer John Miller brought examples of chairs designed and produced by his own locally based company, MARK. He briefed the Falmouth University Club members to design new seating for the reception and other public areas on the Falmouth University campus.
Some of them worked on benches, and some on upholstered string. After making scale drawings they made prototypes from foam, mirroring the design process for furniture manufacture.
