De Montford University’s Art&Design Club were given an exciting Masterclass by fashion and textile designer Lee Lapthorne. Lee’s brief for the Club members was to customise a plain white cotton T-shirt using a creative and imaginative approach, and to shoot the results in a cool, exciting and directional 15-second film.
Club members used student models whom they styled with clothes, make-up and wigs in a studio with UV-filter lighting, props, music and projected backdrops. They produced their films using Viddy, a social media app for uploading short films on Facebook and Twitter.
