The Doncaster College Club took part in a Masterclass with product and furniture designer Michael Marriott, during which they were fascinated to hear the story of his background in design and see images of his work and inspirations.
Michael Marriott is not only an accomplished product designer specialising in furniture design, but also designs and curates exhibitions, writes and teaches. His furniture often uses inexpensive or reclaimed objects as well as more traditional furniture making. Michael was awarded the first ever Jerwood Furniture Prize in 1999.
