William Warren’s Masterclass with the University of The Creative Arts Epsom involved him using the “bodging challenge” he took part in with a group of designers including Gitta Gschwendtner and Amos Marchant in 2010.
Club members used the same set of basic wooden components to make very individual chairs. William wanted to give the Club members the challenge of making a complete piece of furniture and to learn about design through making. William returned for a second session to help Club members to finish the chairs, and some of them were included in the 2013 Summer Show display.
