Welcome to the National Saturday Club

Club member – Getting to know you 2024–25

Welcome to the National Saturday Club
By joining your local Saturday Club, you also become a member of the National Saturday Club, a network of 2,000 young people at over 100 Clubs across the UK!
You can find out more by visiting our website: saturday-club.org
Completing this form helps us to make the programme the best it can be, to update you on exciting national events, and to keep in touch with you about future Alumni opportunities.

The Saturday Club Trust will collect the data from these forms and share them with your Club’s institution. There are laws governing our use of this information and other information that identifies you (known as “personal data”), and we only use your personal data where these laws say we can. That is usually because we have a good reason to do so and you are not unfairly impacted. The main uses that we have for your personal data (other than organising the Alumni Club we mention above) are creating the end of year members’ publication, organising special events, evaluating attendance at the Club and your experience of it (we’ll send you surveys sometimes asking about this, and also in the future, as we like to keep in touch with our members and know how they are getting on!).

Photography and Filming
If photos or films are taken of you throughout the year enjoying the Club or one of our events, then these may be used in the POST Publication or Summer Show, or in promotional information about the Club to develop the programme or fundraising for it. Please tell your Saturday Club tutor if you prefer for us not to do this or email hello@saturday-club.org. We are very respectful of such requests and make every effort to comply with them. It is not always possible to do so, for example, if there are group photographs at events or if the photograph has already been published in an irretrievable format.

Sharing Data
As well as the personal data you give us, please note we may also receive your personal data from your tutors or your parents during the year. We only share your personal data with people the law says it is OK for us to share it with (such as our IT providers and your local Club), and we have security measures in place to try and keep it safe.

Your Rights
You have certain rights under data protection law in relation to your personal data in certain circumstances, for example the right to ask us to delete it, to withdraw your consent to us using it or only use it in a certain way. Please contact Gemma Rust hello@saturday-club.org if you would like to do any of these things or if you have any questions about our use of your personal data.

We have a privacy notice which sets out in more detail the personal data we receive about you, what we do with it and how we keep it safe. You can view it on our website at saturday-club.org/club-members

Please leave blank if this is the same as your first name above, but some people prefer to be called a name that is shorter, or different all together.
If you complete the Saturday Club year, you will receive a certificate. Please write here what name you'd like on that certificate. Please note that you can change this later in the year by talking to your tutor.
