A warm welcome to new Saturday Clubs

We are delighted to announce a number of new Saturday Clubs have recently joined the network, hosted by universities and colleges across the country. A very warm welcome to all of our new partners.

The Northern School of Art have expanded their successful Art&Design programme to support four Saturday Clubs with more than 100 young people taking part.

From fine art and photography, to printmaking and immersive theatre, York St John University’s Art&Design Club is new to the network.

Adding to their Art&Design and Film&Media programmes, Anglia Ruskin University are running a new Science&Engineering Club supported by Chelmsford Science and Engineering Society (CSES). The Club will provide access to state-of-the-art equipment and the Super Lab facilities at ARUs Chelmsford Campus.

London School of Architecture, the Royal Institute of British Architects, Hackney Council and Islington Council have partnered to launch a brand new Art&Design Saturday Club exploring architecture, the built environment and sustainable solutions to the climate crisis.

The first ever Saturday Club on the Isle of Wight, Shademakers will deliver a range of exciting and engaging creative workshops exploring a variety of Art&Design processes.

Hopwood Hall College’s new Art&Design Club has a theme of People, Place and Things’ focusing on experimentation, upcycling, using sustainable materials whilst expressing your personalities, interests and creativity. 

We’re also pleased to welcome University of Derby who will host a Society&Change Club exploring themes such as wellbeing, city spaces, youth voice, freedom, protest and justice, race and racism, politics, education, creativity, resilience, vibrancy, green and growth.

National Army Museum’s new Writing&Talking Club will take a deep dive into the museum’s archive and collections enabling members to discover more about the little-known people who served around the world with the British Army.
