Higher Horizons Keele University
In collaboration with Keele University and the University of Staffordshire, Higher Horizons is excited to offer a Science & Engineering Saturday Club. The club is delivered by specialist tutors, with support from current university students, and provides pupils with exciting workshops across a range of STEM disciplines. Sessions are fun and relaxed while also giving young people the opportunity to learn about the wide range of Science & Engineering courses available in higher education. Participants will explore exciting and varied scientific disciplines, while having the opportunity to ask questions about further education and careers within the science and engineering sector. The club is fully funded, meaning the only cost to families is arranging transport for their child to attend the Saturday sessions.
Club members will also take part in free national events including the Summer Show, where Saturday Clubs nationwide exhibit their work in a public exhibition, and Masterclasses with leading industry professionals. “Without the Saturday Club, I wouldn’t have these opportunities, and I’ve enjoyed it all so much.” Amy, 2022-2023 Saturday Club member.
