The Craft & Making Saturday Club at the Hub in Sleaford is a free creative programme designed for young people aged 13–16 who love making, designing and exploring new ideas. Whether you’re passionate about art, curious about craft, or simply enjoy being creative, Saturday Club is a welcoming place to experiment, develop new skills and build confidence in a relaxed, supportive environment.

There is no pressure—just the freedom to create, make friends and discover what you’re capable of. Throughout the year, you’ll work alongside professional artists, designers and skilled makers, trying out exciting techniques across a range of contemporary craft and design practices.

From ceramics and printmaking to textiles, jewellery and mixed media, every session offers something new to explore.

As part of the programme, you’ll:
• Work with inspiring artists and creative professionals.
• Experience the Hub’s contemporary exhibitions and meet exhibiting makers.
• Learn about creative careers and pathways in craft, art and design.
• Develop your own ideas and create a portfolio of work.
• Celebrate your achievements by exhibiting your work in a public showcase at the Hub.

In addition to weekly sessions, Club members also take part in national events including Masterclasses with leading industry professionals and the Summer Show, where Saturday Clubs nationwide exhibit their work in a public exhibition – all for free!
