The Film&Screen Saturday Club at Hopwood Hall College in Rochdale gives members the opportunity to attend free Saturday morning sessions in their local area. Our aim is to nurture the young people’s talent, build their confidence and give them the opportunity to learn all about the film industry and the use of digital technology. Club members will explore the exciting world of film, animation, games and visual effects for inspiration. Each Saturday, they will be guided by professional film makers and digital artists to develop practical, technical and core creative skills for the industry including filming, editing, sound, innovation, experimentation and creative visualisation. Creativity in Rochdale has no boundaries, there are limitless artistic possibilities, where individuals are encouraged to express themselves. This Club will open your mind to the opportunities within the film and screen industry.

Club members will also take part in free national events including the Summer Show, where Saturday Clubs nationwide exhibit their work in a public exhibition, and Masterclasses with leading industry professionals.
