The London Met Art & Design Club attended a fantastic masterclass at Brinkworth Design Studios. Adam Brinkworth, Founder of Brinkworth, and Lucy Porter delivered an engaging presentation about the company’s projects and provided an insight into the cutting edge of contemporary interior design.
Using the studio facilities, the club members were challenged to create their own commercial unit designs for an existing space. Some designed shops, while others developed concepts for nightclubs or luxury bars. Creativity and imagination were strongly encouraged, while students also learned how to ground their ideas through the use of floorplans and 3D interior visualisations.
The results were, as expected, incredibly creative and impressive. Club members then presented their designs to the group, with each student explaining the vision behind their concept.
It was a truly inspiring and insightful day for everyone involved.
