Art&Design Club members from Winchester School of Art designed a superyacht exterior with Andrew Winch, Founder and Trustee Director of Winch Design.
To start the Masterclass, National Saturday Club Chief Executive Lucy Kennedy introduced the Club to Andrew and designers Drew Thomas and Jason Richards.
Drew and Jason lead two groups, both of which were tasked with creating their own superyacht design. Guided by Andrew’s knowledge in aviation, architecture and interior design, Club members explored key features of the yacht, including lines and proportions. Andrew also guided Club members to consider their drawing implements, and which suited them best.
After sketching out their designs in different profiles, and refining them, the Club members named their boats and presented their designs to the rest of the group.
