In Nottingham Trent University’s Masterclass, three-dimensional designer Pascal Anson wanted the group to explore the idea of plan and elevation as well as size, scale and dimension. A life-sized room set was prepared using pattern-making paper, to Pascal’s specifications.
He then set the Club members the task of researching and selecting furniture and objects for a typical hotel room, finding dimensions and choosing positions for them. The group then worked together to create a full-scale drawing of the hotel room’s contents using coloured tape.
