Graphic designer Sione Raaijmakers led a Masterclass for the University of Wolverhampton Art&Design Club which included an introduction to graphic design and a typography project.
Explaining that design is all around them, Sione asked the Club members to explore their homes for objects that evoke letters, and then to design their own letter to reflect their personality. In small groups Club members presented their work and many went on to develop additional letters in their font.
There were a whole range of designs created inspired by everything from graffiti and necklaces gifted by grandparents, to a rabbit named honey and an exploded sweet!
