








Fashion&Business Saturday Club members from Istituto Marangoni and De Montfort University visited the Manolo Blahnik offices for an exciting Masterclass exploring careers in fashion communications beyond design.
The Masterclass began with an introductory presentation from the Manolo Blahnik team on the brand’s history and the role of communications which was followed by a brief group task to explore what communications meant to the Club members and how they use it in their everyday lives.
Club members then rotated through three immersive activities. The Marketing and Events Team guided members in creating a print media plan using a £100,000 budget. The Content Team supported Club members in styling and photographing a pair of Manolo Blahnik shoes, using props and backdrops. Finally, in a PR and VIP dressing workshop, Club members were tasked with facilitating a live ‘call in’ for a VIP event or shoot.
After each group had completed all activities the Manolo Blahnik team shared their advice on getting into the industry and gifted a Manolo Blahnik goodie bag to Club members!
