We are delighted to announce a number of new Saturday Clubs have recently joined the network, hosted by universities, colleges, and cultural institutions across the country. A very warm welcome to all of our new partners.
There will be new Art&Design Clubs at Andover College and Chapel Arts Gallery, Stamford College, and as the very first Club on the Isle of Man, Artreach Studios will be offering inspiring visual art and craft workshops to local young people.
As the Craft&Making Saturday Club network expands in partnership with QEST and Howdens Joinery, we’re happy to announce that Blackburn Museum and Art Gallery (with support from Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council and ACE), Cockpit Studios, Derby Museum of Making, Hub Sleaford, and St Barbe Museum and Art Gallery (with support from HIWCF) will be launching new Clubs this National Saturday Club year.
The Film&Screen network is also growing, with the support of the British Film Institute awarding
National Lottery funding. New Clubs are on offer at Bracknell and Wokingham College (with support from Resource Productions and Wokingham Borough Council), Bradford College (with support from Screen Yorkshire), The BRIT School, CFI Academy (with support from Crawley College and Uni Connect), East Sussex College and Suffolk New College. And, after fifteen years (!) of running their successful Art&Design programme, The Northern School of Art have also launched a new Film&Screen Saturday Club for young people locally. London Screen Academy are are also returning to the network with a Film&Screen Saturday Club.
With support from the Clore Duffield Foundation, this year a new Performance&Theatre Club subject has launched, with Clubs running at Gateshead College, Roundhouse & The Place, and St Mary’s University Twickenham. Alongside this, Gateshead College will also be launching a new Art&Design Saturday Club, whilst St Mary’s University Twickenham will also offer Science&Engineering and Society&Change.
An additional warm welcome to Brunel University (with support from the Royal Institution) who join the network with a new Science&Engineering Club, and De Montfort University, who return to the network with a new Fashion&Business Saturday Club.
