Cornwall College

At Cornwall College Saturday Club, the college’s art and design facilities give members (aged 13–16) the chance to explore Photography, Drawing and Painting, 3D and Ceramics, Textiles and Print, and Digital Design.

The Saturday Club at Cornwall College is friendly and informal, and members enjoy the social benefits of working alongside like-minded people from many different schools and home education settings. With no curriculum or assessment requirements, there is freedom to let ideas evolve, get involved with local projects, shape sessions to the members’ interests, and seize creative opportunities when they arise, which means every year ends up being different.

Club members also take part in national events including Masterclasses with leading industry professionals and the Summer Show, where all Club members exhibit their work in a public exhibition – all for free!

Club dates:

I love Saturday Club, it really has brought me out of my shell and encouraged me to be unique. I’m so sad that this was my last year but I hope that the Club can go on and continue to inspire people like it inspired me

Saturday Club has given my daughter a great opportunity to discover her creative side which in turn has helped her to express herself and work as part of a group. All of this has given her the confidence to speak and share freely with others. It is an invaluable Club with an inspiring teacher. I feel lucky she has the opportunity to take part.

The facilities we use are amazing and I look forward in going each Saturday

It has given me more skills, patience and passion, which has helped me at school

Your support this year has meant everything to our son. The Club has boosted his confidence, not only in his art, but in the rest of his life too. He’s so much more relaxed and happy now he feels like he’s found somewhere he belongs.
