Overview

This special project challenges you to use your creativity to typographically design one of the letters from ‘NATIONAL SATURDAY CLUB’. A selection of your creations will be featured in a ‘Season’s Greetings’ e-card, sent to the National Saturday Club’s members, tutors, friends and supporters across the country.

Your design could be colourful or monochrome, whimsical and playful, or bold and dynamic. Think about how you might use illustration, digital design, photography, sketching or painting. You might incorporate characters, pattern, texture, modelmaking or shape.

 

What do I need to do?

1. Choose one of the following letters:
   A B C D I L N O R S T U Y

2. Use your creativity and any materials you like to redesign your chosen letter in the box on this downloadable document

3. Photograph or scan your work making sure the image is high quality. Top tip: When you photograph your work make sure you: take the photo next to a window in the daytime, photograph your letter with the camera directly facing the paper (not on an angle), and that the image is not blurry
4. Upload your work below before the submission deadline: Monday 6 December 2021
