The National Saturday Club at The Northern School of Art is a great opportunity for young people to explore their creative potential, gain practical art and design experience, develop independent thinking and confidence through a broad and experimental range of art and design activities. Students will work with highly experienced tutors as well as industry professionals to learn about the creative industries.

Projects are fun, inspiring and challenging and students are free to explore and express their creativity, discover their skills and talent and meet new friends in a supportive, friendly, inclusive and specialist art and design environment. There is also the opportunity to gain an art and design qualification through Arts Award for those students who want to.

Club members also take part in national events including Masterclasses with leading industry professionals and the Summer Show, where Saturday Clubs nationwide exhibit their work in a public exhibition – all for free!
